Lyprinol® Testimonials
Marie Black from Whangaparoa has found Lyprinol a welcome addition to her home after she came close to losing her life in an automobile accident on Valentine’s Day 1996.
She remembers the date but that is all, not even the helicopter that rushed her to Auckland Public Hospital. Marie is a practice nurse who works for a group of GPs in Torbay, a job she has held for 20 years.
That morning she was driving to work when a courier van, coming the other way, suddenly swung across the road and slammed into her head on. “I don’t remember the accident, only that I was going up a hill and he was coming down the hill and he lost control. There was nothing left of my car but the front seat and the seat belt with me in it. I shouldn’t be here. I was lucky to be alive.”
Her chin smashed into the steering wheel. A leg and an arm were mangled. “They treated me as a spinal patient the first few days because they were concerned about a neck injury. But after three days, when I finally regained consciousness, they found that my neck was okay. There was no spinal damage.”
Incredibly, Marie recovered and
was back at work in three months.
She is a swimmer who works out
regularly, as much as four times
a week, at the Hibiscus Leisure
Centre. That helped her recovery
but about two years ago she developed problems
with her joints that had been badly damaged in the
accident.
“I started taking Lyprinol because at work I’m on my feet all day. I was taking other medicine for a while but I knew they were not especially good for me. The chemicals in them can cause a reaction. One of the girls I work with introduced me to Lyprinol and I gave it a go. It seemed to help with my joints and mobility and I discovered another benefit too.”
Marie is not asthmatic but she does suffer from pollen in the spring. “As well as helping me feel better in the joints, Lyprinol helped me breathe better. Before then I would take days off work but when the season came around again I didn’t have to. At the start, I took two Lyprinol in the morning and two again at night. Now I take just one a day.”
Ellen Shek was a keen ballroom dancer but in 1995 she was forced to have knee surgery and it looked as if her dancing “career” was over. Little did she know that it was just beginning. Ellen moved to New Zealand nearly five years ago and discovered Lyprinol and more than ever she is back dancing again thanks to the omega 3 oil lipid called Lyprinol. She now competes against some of the best ballroom dancers in the world.
She has competed all over the world and while her competitive spirit is part of the explanation, she attributes her
comeback primarily to Lyprinol, a product with a special New Zealand story to tell.
Ellen Shek’s problem was an extended period of stiffness, sometimes severe, sometimes less so, but in any case it was the price she paid for dancing. “I would have stiff knees for some time after dancing and I tried everything I thought that might help. One day another woman who was dancing recommended Lyprinol and gave me some articles to read about it. When I moved to New Zealand I found out who distributed it here and started taking it regularly.” It worked so well that Ellen began dancing again at a studio in Birkenhead and taking lessons with a view to competing. “My knees felt so good again I just wanted to become a better dancer so the only way to do that was to take lessons and go to competitions.” Today she practices two hours a day, six days a week.
Ellen has been dancing competitively now for just four years but a trophy covered wall in her apartment
is a testament to her success and, if you like, the success of Lyprinol. She says, “Everywhere I go now when I hear
people talk about stiff knees or joints, I recommend it.”
“I read in Dr Halpern’s book about a number of scientific studies that explain how the oil from New Zealand greenlipped mussels works. He said that while all fish oils are beneficial, the lipid extract from NZ mussels is much higher in antioxidants than most others and it is more that 400 times more powerful.”
A year ago I started to experience problems with the mobility and dexterity of my left hand and my right wrist. Life was becoming increasing difficult, and many simple, everyday tasks that most people take for granted became a frustrating and difficult battle
Help arrived when a friend gave me some Lyprinol to try.
Thanks to Lyprinol I’m able to cope with life again and do the things I was beginning to think I might have to give up entirely.
